 Mary Guidry 67 of Brookeland, TX. died at Timberlake Healthcare and Rehabilitation on Sunday November 25, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 28, 2012 with private interment to follow at the Brookeland Cemetery. Family will have a brief reception following services at the funeral home. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, TX. A native of Beaumont, TX. she was a resident of Orange where she met and married Charlie in January 26, 1971 they relocated to Bridge City in 1978, in 1981 they moved to Roganville, Bleakwood, and Brookeland, Tx. where she currently resided. Mary had a great love for animals she also loved to quilt, sew and cook. She was known for her wonderful jelly she made as well her cooking and canning from vegetables and fruit.. A loving wife, mother and sister. Survivors include a husband Charles Guidry of Brookeland, TX. son James and wife Wendy Stewart of Lugoff, SC. brothers David and wife Patsy Peck of Orange, TX., and Doug Doiron of Starks, LA. sisters Sandy Drouillard of Starks, LA. Bertha and husband Eddie Barlow of Toledo Bend, TX. , Vickie and husband Sam Johnson of Vinton, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother Sam Doiron and a mother Lola Doiron. My heart breaks. Aunt Mary was an Angel on Earth that did not take nothing for granted. She is the Mom I wish I would have had. I love you Aunt Mary.
