Huey Edward Lewis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1935 - 2013 Huey Edward "Hoot" Lewis 77 of Jasper died at Timberlake Healthcare and Rehabilitation on Saturday May 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Oaks Chapel with interment to follow at the Ferrell Cemetery in Tyler County, TX. Visitation will be held held Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A native of Jasper County he was a lifelong resident where he was employed as a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include a son Ronnie and wife Susan Lewis of Asbury, MO. a daughter Linda Gail Gomez of Jasper, TX. brothers Ernest H. Lewis of Jasper, TX. and George A. "Rusty" Lewis of Jasper, TX. sisters Ruthie Nash of Boykin Springs, TX., Dell Burkett of Jasper, TX., Mary Lou Gage of Jasper, TX. and Darlene Truett of Jasper, TX.
