Pat Arnett
WHEELERSBURG- On Saturday, June 6, 2020, Pat Arnett, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 78. Pat was born on November 12, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky. On August 5th, 1961, he married Jane Arlene Carpenter. They raised six children, Debbie (Lloyd) Moore, Sherry (Curt) Hankinson, Patty (Phil) Cromer, Greg (Joanna) Arnett, Dan (Amy) Arnett and Jeff (Cyndi) Arnett. Pat was preceded in death by his father, Hargis and his mother, Ernestine and his brother Jim Arnett. Pat is survived by his wife Jane, his six children, his brothers, John (Lou) Arnett, Tom (Joyce) Arnett and Roger (Debbie) Arnett, sister-in-law, Linda Arnett as well as ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family members. Pat was an avid hunter, gardener and passionate farmer.
Services will be noon Friday, June 12, 2020 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Blaine Etterling officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Creek/Clapboard Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday, June 11, 2020 and one hour before the service on Friday. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
