To Annette and family. I send my deepest condolences to all of you. George and I go back many years to when Eric Hightower, my 1st husband brought him home on leave from the service. We had so much fun together while he was home. It came time to take him back and they would leave to go to the bus station and the next thing I knew they both were back at the house. George would say, “I just can’t get on that bus take me back home Eric”. So he would. I think this happened at least 4 or 5 weeks to the point where if he didn’t go back he would be court marshaled for being AWOL. We all cried when he knew his time was really up. That’s how we all feel now. His time is up but he’s moved on to a better place never to be AWOL again because he is in his final resting place with Jesus in his home the Lord prepared for him. God bless you all. Some day there will be a glad reunion day. Be ready!
