David Lee Bays
WHEELERSBURG-David Lee Bays, 73, of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at SOMC in Portsmouth. David was born in Portsmouth, OH, December 30, 1947 to the late John Willard Bays and Doris Lee Davis Bays. David was a high school graduate and worked for Giovanni’s as a cook. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by his Step-Mother, who raised him, Wanda Louise Bays; a brother, Johnny Bays, Jr. and a sister Martha Carol Bays. David is survived by three sons, David Lee, Tracy Alan and Brian Edward Bays; a daughter, Teresa Lynn Bays; four brothers, Randy, James and Jason Bays and Chris Shepard; a sister, Sylvia Jane Smith and many nieces and nephews.
