James Lintz
FRANKLIN FURNACE-James Lintz, 73, of Franklin Furnace passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at KDMC in Ashland, KY. James was born August 15, 1947 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Addie Lintz and Ollie O’Brien Lintz. James was a Scioto County Commissioner working as Chairman of the Scioto County Loss control; he was a member of the Scioto County Democratic Party, American Legion, Southern Ohio Gun Dog Association and Powellsville Mission Church. James was also an Air Force veteran. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Lintz and a brother-in-law, Roy Daniel. James is survived by his wife, Cathy Thompson Lintz; three sons, Robert Lintz, Andy (Misty) Lintz and Dennis (Amy) Lintz; two daughters, Robin Parker and Angie (Chris) Bellomy; a sister, Judy Daniel; thirteen (plus one on the way) grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services for James will be 6:00 pm Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Rev. Tommy Brown and Ivan Blizzard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, 4:00 pm until the 6:00 pm service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
