BOWLING GREEN-Rebecca L. Minch, 57, of Bowling Green, OH passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Rebecca was born April 29, 1964 in Parma, OH to Ruth Bernice (Dyer) Schmeltz and the late Darrell D. Dyer. She married Keith D. Minch on January 28, 2006. Rebecca was an accomplished sous chef with decades of experience in the restaurant and catering business. She was most known for her love of singing, frequently sharing her beautiful voice with friends and family. Rebecca was also a massive animal lover, constantly doting on her pets Tinker the tuxedo cat and Sassy the Bassett Hound. Rebecca is survived by her children, Caitlyn M. Jennings of Kalamazoo, MI and Cody P. Jennings of Weston, OH; husband, Keith D. Minch of Bowling Green, OH; brothers, Michael D. Dyer of Pemberville, OH and Jeffery L. Dyer of Wheelersburg, OH; mother, Ruth Bernice (Dyer) Schmeltz and stepfather, Jeffry R. Schmeltz both of Pemberville, OH.
Visitation will be Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral service occurring immediately afterwards from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home located at 11623 Gallia Pike in Wheelersburg, OH. Burial will take place after the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will then be a luncheon at the annex of Swauger Valley Free Will Baptist Church located a 1219 Swauger Valley Rd., Portsmouth, OH. Becky, the world has lost an amazing lady! You touched the lives of so many people in the short time you were here on this earth. However, Heaven has gained a true Angel. Wear those wings proudly.
Condolences to Keith, Caitie, Cody, your Mom & Step father, Mike, Jeff and all of your extended family.
