Clarence Delno “C.D.” Henry
WHEELERSBURG-Clarence Delno “C. D.” Henry, 85, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. C.D. was born June 26, 1936 in Crossville, TN to the late Albert Rosco and Laura Sells Henry. C.D. was retired from N&W Railroad where he was a Supervisor in the Car Shops. He was a member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge #91, Scottish Rite and El Hasa Hillbillies. In addition to his parents, C.D. was preceded in death by his wife, of 52 years, Eileen McGuigan Henry, October 3, 2009, whom he married August 10, 1957 in NC. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Casto, Esco and Arnold Henry and two sisters, Lois Tabor and Joyce Graham. C.D. is survived by two sons, Jeff (Tammy) Henry and Jason (Stephanie) Henry; two daughters, Karen (Jim) Baum and Michelle (Bryan) Cook; two brothers, Byrl Henry and Jimmy Henry; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Services for C. D. will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Dale Whitley officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00-8:00 pm Friday, August 27, 2021 and one hour before the service on Saturday. There will be a Masonic service 7:30 pm Friday.
