Robert Dean Braden
WHEELERSBURG-Robert Dean Braden, 88, of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Best Care Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wheelersburg. Robert was born June 26, 1933 in Scioto County to the late Stanley Braden and Marjorie Staker Braden. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed at Scioto County Joint Vocational School as a Maintenance Supervisor. Robert was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and also was Fire Chief at Porter Township Fire Department. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Gleim Braden, October 8, 2010 whom he married October 24, 1953. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Scott Braden; a brother, Stanley Braden and two sisters, Martha Sanford and Nancy Higginbothan. Robert is survived by two sons, David (Debbi) Braden and Brian Braden; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Services for Robert will be 11:00 am Monday, November 1, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg and 10:00-11:00 am at the church on Monday.
