WHEELERSBURG-John Paul Aeh, 71, of Wheelersburg, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at home with his family at his bedside. John was born June 14, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Paul Leslie Aeh and Edith (Saul) Aeh. John was not only a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa, he was also a man who loved God and his church. John was a life long resident of Wheelersburg and a member of Wheelersburg Methodist Church for many years. He was a member of the choir and very active in the church. John was a 1968 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and an avid Pirate fan. John received his BA from Shawnee State University and retired from USEC of Piketon, Ohio after 38 years of service. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by an infant sister, Teresa Joanne. John is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dianna (Davis) Aeh; one son, Chris (Mary Ellen Perkins) Aeh; four grandchildren, Megan (Kyle) Mitchell, Shawna Terry (Cody Delotell) and Justin Terry (Keisha Lewis) and Grandpa’s buddy, Tyler Aeh; great grandchildren Brystal Jo, Ryker, Emilia and Lilly and also Mazie, Mia and Lane; one brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Becky Davis and many cousins. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their loving care of John.
Visitation and services for John will be 11:00 am until a 2:00 pm service, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Wheelersburg United Methodist Church in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg has been entrusted with the services. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.

I knew John from our years together at the Enrichment Plant. What a truly wonderful, spiritual, loving human being. I offer my sympathy and prayers of comfort to his family, loved ones and many friends, as I know he will be greatly missed. May God bless all and may you rest in peace our friend.

I worked with John at USEC but knew him as a Wheelersburg resident as well. He was such a nicevperson and treated others the way he wanted to be treated. He will be truly missed. Rest in Peace John.

John was a wonderful friend,and I will miss him. He,s been a great husband to my best friend Dianna for many years, and a great father, grandfather and great grandfather. I know him as being sweet and kind to all people.
