Thomas Eugene Harr
WHEELERSBURG-Thomas Eugene Harr, 76, of Wheelersburg passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at KDMC in Ashland, KY. Thomas was born February 10, 1945 in New Boston, Ohio to the late Eugene Harr and Flora Perry Harr. Thomas graduated from New Boston High School where he excelled in basketball and was named SOC player of the year 1963. He also played slow pitch and fast pitch with many of his great friends and teammates, where he also excelled. Thomas had an Associate Degree and worked in Quality Control at Martin Marietta/USEC and he was a member of Wheelersburg United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Harr and a sister, Carolyn Walker. Thomas is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Rose Harr whom he married December 28, 1988 in Greenup County. Thomas is also survived by two sons, Timothy (Staci) Harr and Darren Harr; two brothers, Paul Harr and Wilbur Harr; three grandchildren, Eli and Tori (John) Howell and Olivia Harr and one great grandson, Tyce Harr.
Services for Thomas will be 11:00 am Friday, December 31, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Perry Prosch and Pastor Bobby Morrow officiating. Interment will be in South Webster Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday and one hour before the 11:00 am service on Friday.
