Janice Marlene Foster
WHEELERSBURG-Janice Marlene (Hammond) Foster 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on February 9, 1938, to the late Mark Leroy and Mary Margaret Hammond. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard Lee Foster, a brother, Douglas Lee Hammond; and a sister, Anita Sue Hammond. She attended Bloom Free Will Baptist Church and loved sharing her faith in God.
Surviving are her three children, Mark Foster, Diana (Dennis) Donahoe and Karen (Mike) Mershon all of Wheelersburg, two brothers, Ronald Lee Hammond, and Keith (Lisa) Hammond of Portsmouth. Janice was al blessed with 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She loved all her first cousins and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio, with Pastors Allen Harner and Kenny Klaiber officiating followed by burial in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.
