Maria M. Marshall
WHEELERSBURG-Maria Maude Marshall, 85, of Wheelersburg, a loving and caring mother and grandmother, who was adored by her family and friends, passed away, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Maria was born April 27, 1937 in Newfoundland, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Marshall, Sr., a son James R. Marshall, Jr. and a great granddaughter, August Gates. Maria is survived by three children, Sherry Jones, Denver (Lisa) Marshall and Pam Knight, all of Wheelersburg; a brother, Anthony Kean of St. John’s Newfoundland; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Celebration of life for Maria will be held starting at 6:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2022 at 724 Fairview Avenue, Wheelersburg. The family requests memorial contributions be made to SOMC Hospice in Maria’s name. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
