Billy Joe Marshall

LUCASVILLE -Billy Joe Marshall, age 92 of Lucasville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Billy was born on September 29, 1930 to the late Roy and Mable Marshall of Salyersville, Kentucky. He is survived by his bride, best friend and love of his life of 68 years, Elva Pridemore Marshall.

Billy is also survived by his brother Charles Marshall of Salyersville, Kentucky, children Jo Lynn Marshall Broyles (Gary) of Wichita Falls, Texas, Randy Marshall (Doreena) of Garden City, Kansas, grandchildren Nathan Marshall (Tracy), Kevin Marshall (Jill), Brad Kundracik (Amanda), great grandchildren Adi Marshall, Shaylee Marshall, Elisha Marshall, Kailan Marshall, Ean Marshall, Eva Marshall, Addi Kundracik, Brooke Kundracik, and Austin Case Kundracik.

Billy was preceded in death by his brothers Paul Marshall, Arnold Marshall, his son Barry Marshall and his granddaughter Natalie Marshall.

Billy served in the United States Air Force, was a graduate of Morehead State University, a retiree of the Scioto County Joint Vocational School, faithful member of Union Freewill Baptist Church, a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Services for Billy will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Chris Oiler and Pastor Zach Conkel officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 pm Monday and one hour before the 10:30 am service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Freewill Baptist Church or SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
