Michael Ray Maggard
WHEELERSBURG-Michael Ray Maggard, 66, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. Michael was born August 5, 1956 in Portsmouth to Delphia Bell Adkins Maggard and the late Oral Patton Maggard. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a past employee of OSCO. Mike enjoyed a simple life, music, good food and friends. In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Sue Phipps and Beth Anne Maggard and a brother, Roger Dale Maggard. In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by two brothers, Ophel Maggard and Charles Steven Maggard both of Wheelersburg; a sister, Sherri Moffatt (Tim) of SC and a brother-in-law, Darryl Phipps.
Services for Michael will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Dan Widdig officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
