Mary Margaret Skaggs
WHEELERSBURG-Mary Margaret Skaggs, 84, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at Concord Healthcare Center in Wheelersburg. Mary was born July 28, 1939 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Romulis Hurst and Addie Mae Huffman Hurst. Mary had been employed as a Nurses Aid at the former Southern Hills Hospital. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a son, William “Billy” Frowine and two brothers, Paul Hurst and Bob Hurst. Mary is survived by a son, Chris (Manya) Frowine; a daughter, Jacquline King; five grandchildren, Bailey (Andy) Wright, Misty (Scott) Ellifritt, Mark Moritz, Michael Moritz and Zach (Hannah) Frowine; five great grandchildren, Nickalos, Jolee, Jaxson, Gaige and Logan; special kids, Eon K. Spears and Alex Dixon and her brother, Jack Hurst. The family extends a special thanks to Hospice, Billie and Ashley Mason for the wonderful job they did. Also, a special thanks to Dave Pyles for making a difficult situation much easier.
