Isaac Earl Stapleton
NEW BOSTON-Isaac Earl Stapleton, 80, of New Boston, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home. Isaac was born April 5, 1943 in Franklin Furnace to the late Issac Stapleton and Martha Prince Stapleton Skaggs. Isaac was employed as a Laborer “Burner” at Freeman Scrap and he was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Isaac is preceded in death by his wives, Donna Sue (Thomas) Stapleton, 07-02-1965 to 05-08-2000 and Margaret Pat (Pate) Stapleton, 05-22-2009 to 01-02-2018; three brothers, Everett, Thurman and Andy and three sisters, Faye Hammonds, Betty Jean Thacker and Marlene Steel. Isaac is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann Hoover (Richard), Joyce Stone and Nancy Fleenor (Scott); two sisters, Lucille Sparks and Ethel Shrunk; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Services for Isaac will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 15, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Junior Furnace Cemetery.
