Gerald Lee Aeh
WHEELERSBURG-Gerald Lee Aeh, 82, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at his home. Gerald was born May 19, 1941 in Portsmouth to the late Ralph Aeh and Irene Myers Aeh Chasteen. Gerald worked 62 years as a pipefitter out of Local #577 plumbers and pipefitters, he was a member of the Moose Lodge and he was of Baptist faith. Gerald was an avid Coca Cola and coin collector and enjoyed going to the flea market. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his stepfather, Glen Chasteen; a son-in-law, Dennis Cartee; his half brothers, David and Rich Aeh and his faithful side kick, Buster. Gerald is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Aeh, mother of his children, Bryan Aeh (Cindy Wheeler), Dwight (Johnna) Aeh and Landon Aeh, Denise Yates (Mark Hatten), Becky Wamsley and Carol Cartee; half-sisters, Patty Joyce, Lisa Dumolt and Judy Aeh-Portokalis. His companion of 35 years, Shirley Brust and her children, Rick, Josh, Kasey, Jessica and Andrea; 25 grandchildren, 17 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.
Services for Gerald will be 1:00 pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
