Brenda Kay Crank

WHEELERSBURG-Brenda Kay Crank, 65, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at OSU in Columbus, Ohio. Brenda was born November 23, 1959 in Lancaster, Ohio to the Late Curtis Wheeler and Doris Gibbs Wheeler. Brenda was employed as a bus driver for Waukesha Transportation. In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” and two sisters, Linda Dennis and Sherry Stevens. Brenda is survived by her husband Danny Ray Crank, whom she married June 20, 1981 in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. She is also survived by two brothers, Joe Wheeler and Samuel “Tim” Wheeler and a sister, Debbie Bayless.

Services for Brenda will be 11:00 am Monday, March 24, 2025 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Junior Furnace Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday, March 23, 2025 and one hour before the 11:00 am service on Monday. Brenda was such a beautiful soul.My husband Fred and I enjoyed driving city bus with Brenda for many years. She had such a great sense of humor and we Loved her dearly. We are sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless You, Fred and Shirley Wasick.8N4UYU

I know the words "I'm sorry" doesn't really fix how you're feeling, doesn't take away the pain, doesn't bring her back, regardless I'm still sorry. Sorry for a lot of things. Sorry for your pain, and any struggles you might face emotionally / mentally. My only regret is not getting to know her better than I already did. I envy you in that way You knew her better than the most of us. My condolences and love.
