George William Blankenship
FRANKLIN FURNACE-George William Blankenship, 74, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at his home. George was born August 12, 1950 to the late Thomas Woodrow Blankenship and Dorothy Faye Rickman Blankenship. George was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War Era, and he was a member of the AM Vets. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Stapleton Blankenship whom he married August 10, 1990 in Greenup, KY and a brother, Willard Blankenship. George is survived by a daughter, Amy Clevenger and two sisters, Carol Maddix and Betty Morrison.
