Paul White Wagner
PORTSMOUTH formerly of Wheelersburg-Our beloved father, Paul White Wagner, 99, went to be with his heavenly father Monday, June 2, 2025. Paul was surrounded by his loving, proud family. Dad was one of the original founding members of the Porter Township Fire Department. He started Wagner Implement with his family eventually becoming Wagner Rental & Supply. Dad believed in honesty, hard work and sealing the deal with a handshake. He retired in 1987 but still had an influence many years after. Dad was a people person. He greeted people for 35 years at Wheelersburg Methodist Church and for the past 10 years he was a greeter in the lobby at SOMC. His hugs were legend and a blessing to all who received them. Paul married the love of his life Adah in 1950. They were married 65 years until her passing in 2015. Family was paramount in Mom and Dad’s life. He was so proud of his boys, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved BIG, and many were blessed to receive that love.
Paul was born February 14, 1926 in Scioto County to the late Fred E. Wagner and Garnet White Wagner. He was a World War II, US Air Corps veteran and a member of Wheelersburg Methodist Church.
