
David Lee Jividen, 76, of South Shore, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Born on October 26, 1948 David was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who honorably served his country. For many years, he worked as a skilled pipefitter welder. A passionate enthusiast, he was a die-hard Patriot, Nascar fan and a follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Some friends knew him under the alias, "Hook." Most notably for his large hook he would wear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Doris Jividen, and his step-daughter, Brandy Myers.
David is survived by his beloved soulmate, Iva Brown of South Shore, KY. His legacy lives on through his three sons, Darrell (Melody) Jividen, Max (Alayna) Jividen, and Grady Jividen; and one cherished granddaughter, Abigail Jividen.
He is also survived by his siblings: two brothers, Jim (Elaine) Jividen and Dan (Sherry) Jividen; and one sister, Sue (Kelly) O'Leary. Additionally, he is survived by two stepsons, Mikel Brown and Adam Zornes, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, funeral services will be held, Wednesday, Oct 29, 10:30am- 12:30pm, officiated by Tom Ross; followed by burial with military honors at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East
