Earl J. Dyer, 79, of Franklin Furnace, OH passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1946, to the late Earl H. and Velma (Brown) Dyer and also preceded in death by his wife, Gretta Dyer, whom he married on February 12, 1965.
Earl retired from Marathon Petroleum as a Lab Technician, after many years of service.
In addition to his parents and wife, Gretta, he was preceded in death by a brother: Dallas Dyer and a sister: Jeanie Salyers.
Those left to celebrate his life are a son: JB (Nicole) Dyer; a daughter: Jill (Jerry Adkins) Dyer and a grandson: Dallas Dyer.
A graveside service will be 11:00am, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Haverhill Cemetery, Haverhill, OH with Pastor Matthew Mayhew officiating. Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home of Wheelersburg, OH is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
