Brumfield, 83, of Worthington, Kentucky passed away Saturday February 21, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Brumfield was born June 22, 1931 in Catlettsburg, KY a son of the late Abraham and Faye Stuart Brumfield. He is survived by his wife Betty Lou Davis Brumfield. There will be no services. Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at reedfuneralhome.us.

Fred was the nicest man we ever knew and he was our favorite neighbor..his kindness, his laugh, we will always remember. We spent as much time in his home as we did our own & when our Nana , who lived across the street, became forgetful with Alzheimers , we know Fred assisted her. I cry as I write this as a warm, wonderful friend from our childhood and a good human being has passed from this world. He will be greatly missed and heaven could not have gained a better soul. Our family will miss you but our memories of you will always remain in our hearts.

We are so sorry for your loss!! I have many wonderful memories of the time our families spent together when we were growing up. Lots of fun on fishing and camping trips, not to mention time spent together at church. Fred was a wonderful person and so much fun to be around. Our prayers are with Betty Lou, JR and his family, Patty and her family, and Diana Gail and her family!!! We love you guys.

Your dad was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. My prayers are with Patty, Diane, and JR and especially Betty, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
