Nancy Jane Kirkendall
WHEELERSBURG-Nancy Jane Kirkendall, 76, of Wheelersburg, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Nancy was born October 24, 1947 in Nashville, TN to the late Cecil Stephens and Ruby Deering Stephens. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kirkendall, whom she married December 13, 1968 in Nashville, TN and Jimmy Stephens. Nancy has an associate’s degree and was employed by Porter Township Fire and Ems for 35 years. Nancy is survived by two sons, Jeff (April) Kirkendall and Chris (Kelly) Kirkendall; a daughter, Mandy (Mark) Wheeler; a brother, Wayne (Joanne) Stephens; a sister, Mary Johns; seven grandchildren, Zach (Kreston), Michael, Cortney, Cass, Caleb, Colin and Carly. Ten great grandchildren and one on the way, great grandchildren and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thanks to Sheila and Cathy, close family friends and care givers.
Services for Nancy will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Zach Conkel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
