Donald Eugene Stevens, 88, of Ona, WV, passed away November 27, 2025. He was born February 17, 1937, in Ona, WV, son of the late Ralph and Ivy Freeman Stevens. He was also preceded in death by his foster parents Rosie and Addie Luellen; foster sisters Mary Wolfe, Alice Thorne, Helen Chapman, and Kathleen Bond; and foster brother Joe Luellen. He retired from AC & F industries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1960-1962. He is survived by his wife Wilma Jean Nida Stevens; one brother Richard Simpson (Marilyn); several caring cousins and two great neighbors Glen and Karen Dailey. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels and Hospice of Huntington for their loving care during his illness.
