 Teresa Lynn Goad, 69, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026. Celebration of Life will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. John Gue. She was born March 22, 1957, in Pulaski, VA, a daughter of Carol Weddle Bias of Blountville, TN and the late Donald Shupe. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Billy Goad. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Mindy Stephens of Nags Head, NC; sons, Josh Goad of Murfreesboro, TN and Jared Goad (Teresa) of Wytheville, VA; brothers, Scott Shupe of Blountville, TN and Donnie Shupe of Scottsdale, AZ; and grandchildren, Brody Stephens, Jordan Goad, Lindsey Goad, and Andrew Goad. Teresa was a light to all who met her and loved her family, neighbors and farm fiercely. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Josh, Jared ~ I have great memories of you two being in my fifth grade class. I also have wonderful memories of both your parents. You were fortunate to have one another, for those were indeed the best days of our lives.
