Shellia Ann Lang, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, in Wheelersburg Ohio. She was born on October 17, 1939, in Portsmouth. Shellia dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse and served as head nurse at Mercy Hospital. She was known for her compassion, strength, and commitment to her patients and coworkers. She found joy in traveling to new places, staying active through walking and swimming, and spending quiet moments with a good book. Shellia was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Lang; her son, Tony Lang; and her daughter, Laura. She will be deeply missed.. A funeral service will be 1:00pm, Monday, June 1, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Father Michael Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Sheila was a top notch nurse which I had the privilege to work with her back in the 70's,she was also my friend, rest in peace.
