Helen Teresa Powell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1958 - 2026 Helen Teresa Powell, 68, of Barboursville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Dave Gladwell. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born February 13, 1958 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Lawrence Hank Kuhn and Helen Gibson Kuhn. She is survived by one son, Jeremy Powell (Suzanne) of Huntington; two sisters, Vickie Watts (Mike) of Barboursville and Sherrie Porter (Robert) of Barboursville; and five grandchildren, Ben, Kalee, Isaiah, Bella, and Mikayla. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

So sorry to hear of Teresa’s passing. I dealt with her when she worked at the courthouse for many years. She was a pleasure to work with.
