Betty Jean Romans 1928 - 2008 Betty Jean Romans, 80, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday December 29, 2008 in St. Marys Medical Center. She was born March 26, 1928 daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Kelly. Betty was a member of New Valley Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Teresa Chapter #257 OES Proctorville. She is survived by her husband Arthur F. Romans; three children, Penny (Jimmie) Thacker of South Point, Ohio, George (Melissa) Romans of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Arthur C. (Diane) Romans of Ashland, KY; one brother Lester Kelly of Ironton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Thacker, Daniel Thacker, Kristin Thacker, Tim Romans, Katie Romans, Kelly Romans, and Clairynn Romans; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 31, 2008 at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Leon Holderby. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery Willow Wood, Ohio.
