Della Newland, age 85 of Easily, SC formerly of Man, WV passed away Monday while under Hospice care in Anderson, SC. She was born on Dec. 3, 1917 in Logan, and was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Newland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred. Her survivors include: two sons, Phillip (Charlotte) Newland of Ewing, VA - Randolph (Francis) Newland of Crawfordsville, FL - one daughter, Susan King of Simpsonville, SC - one brother, Bill Lowe of Chapmanville - three sisters, Sylvia Browning of Man, WV - Lucille Walford and Sara Lowe both of Fayetteville, WV - six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 20th, 2002 at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan, WV with her son, Phillip conductng the services. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Friends may call from noon until 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home in Logan, West Virginia.
