Mabel Lucas McCoy, 85, of Rush went to be with her Lord on Saturday August 26, 2006 after an extended illness. She was born June 30, 1921 in Carter Co., a daughter of the late Ephram and Della Coffey Lucas. She was retired dietician from Kings Daughters Medical Center. She was preceded in death by two sons; James McCoy and Carl Bernard McCoy. Her survivors include: two sons; Johnny McCoy of Rush and Kenny Conley of Denton: two daughters; Nancy Burkhart of Flatwoods and Carol Conley of Denton. One Brother; Marvin Lucas of Ashland KY. 6 Grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home by the minister Ed McKinney. Burial will be in the Lucas Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.malonefuneral home.com.
