Passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, December 6, 2006 at Lakeview Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Don was born February 8, 1955 in Paw Paw, the son of Donald Grimm Sr. and the late Barbara A. Huff. Don was the owner and operator of Grimm’s Mechanical Heating and Cooling business in Lawton. He loved fishing, hunting and snowmobiling and was a member of the Michigan Snowmobiler's Association, the Lawton Snowstompers Snowmobile Club and the South Haven Steel Headers Association. On July 14, 1979 in Lawton Don was united in marriage to Brenda Sue Potter who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Don and Lillian Grimm Sr. of Lawton; sister, Sharon (Mitch) Matthies of Lawton; 3 step-sisters, Diane (Tom) Durham of Salinas, CA, Darlene (Wayne) Snyder and Norma (Bob) Holtzman both of Battle Creek, 2 step-brothers, Philip (Celia) Bailey of Battle Creek, and Ronald (Cinda) Bailey of Elkhart, IN; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Linda Mann and Pamela Matthies, and a step-brother, Gerald Bailey. Family will receive friends Saturday 2-4 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Packer officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington Chorea Disease or the First Christian Church, Paw Paw.

Brenda, Though we have not met, I have had the pleasure of meeting your husband on a few occasions when he installed our new heating sysytem in our new home a couple of years ago. He was always so polite and a smile on his face. This community is gonna miss him very much. Your are in our thoughts and prayers.
