To the Whaley family, I am filled with much sadness to hear of Chuck's passing, and at the same time, I am filled with much happiness for having known him. I worked with Chuck for many years at Phillips Supply Company and I always enjoyed the days we worked together. I know from experience that Chuck's customers cared a great deal for him, they seemed more like old friends to each other. Chuck would always do something to create fun out of what would, otherwise, be just another day at the office. Often during those workdays our conversation would turn to family matters and it was quite obvious that Chuck was very proud of his. He loved his family very much, what more could a person ask for ? The last time I saw Chuck was a couple of years past and even with the burden of an oxygen tank he still had a ready smile and a pleasant manner. Chuck was one of the good guys, I will miss him.

To the family of Chuck Whaley. I was fortunate to have Chuck as a friend when I still lived in Ohio. Chuck was a great person, one I am sure will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Chuck has rounded turn four and taken the checkered flag for the last time. My prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of your great loss. Steve Ferrell
