So sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Ray. Neither Butch nor myself didnt know of his illness. So sorry for your loss, Butch and I truely understand what you are currently going through. We often talk of our childhood days when families actually visited and talked, seems as we get older we often forget others. If there is anything we can do please let us know. I currently work in Jackson and I could have visited with Uncle Ray if I would have had any knowledge of his illness. Again so sorry.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know how it is to lose someone you love. Time will heal your broken heart. And you always have to look on the bright side, that noone can ever take your memories away, of the departed. Mr. Davis sounded like a wonderful person, who dedicated his life, in educating others. Sorry we never got to meet. Sincerely, the granddaughter you never met.

My condolences to the family of James Ray Davis. Ray was one of the finest persons I have ever known - so kind, so considerate, so smart, so ethical, so knowledgeable about everything, so handy, so humble. I met Ray when he and Edith Jane were staying at my parents home in Columbus when Ray was attending Ohio State University. He was the kind of person I always wanted to be like - my ideal. His family is so lucky to have had him as an example of how to be and how to conduct your life.
