Thelma M. McCallisterTHELMA M. McCALLISTER, 85, of Huntington, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, October 15, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on December 30, 1921, in Cabell County, the daughter of James and Lora Bryant Bowen and is survived by her husband, Willie McCallister, daughter, Phyllis Thompson of Barboursville, a stepson, Willie (Amy) McCallister Jr., of Charlotte, NC. She was also survived by four grandchildren, Roman (Andrea) Thompson, Barboursville, Tia (Brian) Dowler, of Oswego IL, Jason (Tammy) Jolley, Cabot Ark., and Amy Childress, Little Rock, AK, nine, great-grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Bryson, Piper, Brett, and Paige Dowler, Rebecca and Jackson Jolley, Sarah Graves, Ryan and Sean McCallister.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Su Jolley, who was married to Jack Jolley, a sister, Juanita (Ned) Roberts, a brother, James Bowen Jr. and one step brother, Don Kyle.

She was a member of the River Cities Community Church, Huntington, WV.

Funeral, will be Friday, October 19, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the River Cities Community Church.

Visitation, will be one hour before the service, at 10:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2007 at the church. Officiating will be Dr. Larry Greene. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.

In lieu of floweers donations can be made to River Cities Community Church Growth Fund or the Juvenile Diabetes Fund.

Willie and Phyllis- May God comfort your hearts and spirits. Thelma will be so greatly missed by all of us and certainly her "spot" right in front of us in church. She was such a blessing to everyone she came in contact with.We know she is enjoying her presence with her Savior!!
