JOHN SCOTT DRUMMOND, 84, of Huntington, was born June 13, 1923, in Chesapeake, Ohio, and died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was retired from Fletcher Mining Equipment. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008, at HensonMortuary with the Rev. Jim Forrest; burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, February 17,20;08, at Henson Mortuary, Pea Ridge. In addition to his parents, Scott Truman and Lillian Ransbottom Drummond, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Cushard Drummond. He is survived by three daughters, Gloria Misner, of Jacksonville, Ark., Joyce Fowler of Ashland, Ky. and Bonnie Maple, of Wheelersburg, Ohio; three step daughters, Thelma Farmer, of South Point, Ohio, Mary Hooser, of Huntington, W.Va. and Asenyth Maynard, of Ohio; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Dora Jean Fulton, of South Point.
