Debbie and family,
We have never met. I am Mike's first cousin, Donna (nee Kucich) from New York and am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing.
My mother, Lena, was Mike's aunt (Walter's sister). Just to keep you to date on family affairs, Walter's other sister, Betty, was diagnosed w/ Alzheimer's a few years ago. She passed away last year - oddly enough 3 days after Alex passed away in California; he was Walter's brother.
My mom, Lena, is the last surviving sibling. My Dad, Bill, passed in 2002 from cancer.
My mom will be 90 this year and still lives alone, though struggles tremendously with arthritis.
I am in Rochester, NY, my sister Nancy is in Virginia Beach with my mom, and Betty's daughter, Gale, is outside of Harrisburg near her dad, Earl. Arthritis has taken it's toll on her as well.
I was born almost exactly a year after Mike. The last time we met, I was 12 or 13 and he and Uncle Walter and Aunt Ann took a trip up north to visit the families. They stayed w/ us a few days. They were living in Ashland at the time and we were on Long Island.
I still have a picture of Stephanie that must have been sent with her birth announcement.
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss and please feel free to get in touch if you wish.

Hello, My name is Caleb and I am one of Jehovahs Witnesses. Im very sorry for the death that youve experienced in your family recently. Ive just been sharing a comforting scripture with you and similar individuals who have lost dear loved ones in death. John 11:25 says... "He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."
We agree with the bible when it says at Acts 24:15... that there will be a resurrection, of both the righteous and unrighteous.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.. please know that we are thinking of you and your family during this hardship.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Caleb Aniol

Mike was a great friend and racer. We will miss him. Our local animal shelters are in need of food, so I will give in honor of Mike. Peace and comfort to Debra and Stephanie, and all of his friends.

I am so, so sorry, Jules. If there is anything at all I can do, please, let me know. I know your father must have been a remarkable person because of what a remarkable young woman you have become. I'm thinking of you and your mom and praying for both of you.

We worked together for the longest time and I heard you speak of Mike often. I don't think I ever had the pleasure of meeting him. You always spoke of him with love and kindness and deepest respect. I know your heart is broken but time and prayers will help ease the pain but never the loss. He will always be in your heart. God bless and keep you and your daughter.
