William Leroy HodgeWilliam Leroy "Bill" Hodge, 73, of DeGraff, died at 4:15 PM Monday, November 29, 2010, at Mary Rutan Hospital.

He was born in Springfield on April 14, 1937, a son of the late William Forbes and Grace Louise Jinkens Hodge. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hodge.

On June 14, 1959, he married Linda Carroll Seas Hodge in Plattsburg, Ohio and she survives, along with a daughter, Brenda (Sam) Jackson of Lewistown; two grandchildren, Christina (Cody Kelley) Jackson of Lewistown and Bradley (Lindsay) Jackson of Zanesfield; and a sister, Janet Bailey of Tomball, TX.

Bill graduated from Springfield Northeastern High school, worked as a Foreman for Navistar International and was a member of the Sidney Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Pastor Dave Moran will conduct a service at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Sidney Baptist Church, where calling will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Sidney Baptist Church.
