Donna Christine RichardsDonna Christine Richards, 92, of Lima, passed away at 6:42 AM Sunday, January 23, 2011, in Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 25, 1918, in DeGraff, a daughter of the late William M and Grace Loffer Ellis. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Deanna Guisinger; a brother, James R. Ellis, Sr.; and a sister, Ann Stratton.

She married Thomas Edward Richards on November 7, 1951 in Columbus, and he survives, along with a son, William "Bill" Hempker of Lima and Indian Lake; a daughter, Peggy (Larry) Guisinger of Lima; a grandson, Larry (Lucia) Guisinger, Jr of Lima; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; a step granddaughter, Vicky (Ferrell) Andrews, Jr.; 2 step great grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren.

A homemaker she graduated from DeGraff High School in 1936, was a member of the Indian Lake Community Church and attended the Logansville Community Church for many years. Donna loved her dog and she also liked to do crafts and oil paintings.

Pastor Jim Ellington and Pastor Karen Blackburn conduct a funeral at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospital for children and Logan County Humane Society.
