Earl Clyde Trout, Sr., 70, of DeGraff, died at 5:40 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

He was born in DeGraff on June 19, 1940, a son of the late Gail F. and Gladys E. Friend Trout. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Shultz and Lulu Belle Huffman; six brothers, Gail Jr, Millard, Clyde, Lawrence, Donald Ray and Willard Trout.

On December 22, 1963, he married the former Ruby M. Stanley in West Mansfield and she survives, along with two sons, Earl C. Trout, Jr of DeGraff and William J. Trout of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Angelina Cisneros of Bellefontaine; three brothers, Carl Trout of Ridgeway, Richard Trout of Kenton, and Robert Trout of Bellefontaine; six grandchildren, Bruce Trout of Bowling Green, OH, Amber (Dan) Branson, Jr of DeGraff, Randy Patrick, Keanu Trout, Tatiana Trout, and Christopher Trout all of Bellefontaine.

He worked as a janitor for Scioto Services in Marysville, and was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed mowing his yard and being outdoors.

Rev. Philip Wolf will conduct a funeral at 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the donor's choice.

Ruby, Sorry I didn't make it over before he passed. Earl always took time to stop and say hi and was always in good spirits no matter what he was going through. He and Jim will have a lot to talk about now. He was a great person and will be missed. Take care.
