Kit Duane Heath Click for Condolences      Printable Version

Kit Duane Heath, 56, of New Carlisle, died at 12:45 AM Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born in Bellefontaine on September 7, 1954, a son of Pearl Louise Bailey Heath of Quincy and the late Hershal Duane Heath. A brother, Bruce Heath also preceded him in death.

On April 12, 1980, he married Barbara A. Henry in Bellefontaine and she survives along with two daughters, Andrea Heath of Columbus, and Brandi (Jeremy) Camper of New Carlisle; a brother, Terry (Karen) Heath of Quincy; and three grandchildren, Kiara, Trenton, and Anna Camper all of New Carlisle.

The 1972 graduate of Riverside High School was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church and Buckeye Gospel Barn. He was employed at HBD Industry in Bellefontaine for eighteen years where he served as Vice President of the local Steel and Rubber Workers Union for several years.

The family will receive friend at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a memorial service at 5:00 PM. His body has been cremated and his ashes will be buried at Rosedale Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
