Robert L Dye, Sr Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2011 Robert L. Dye, Sr., 91 of Quincy, died at 6:32 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Sidney. He was born February 23, 1920, in Logan Co. a son of the late Fred W. and Theresa Fern Peacock Dye. On August 26, 1946, he married Doris Jean Vonderhuevel and she died April 10, 2009. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Dye, Jr., a granddaughter, Brenda Jean Dye, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by several Nieces and Nephews. A retired Machine Operator for Everyday Manufacturing in Sidney he enjoyed attending County Fairs. His ashes will be interred at Fairview Cemetery, Quincy, following a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2011 with Pastor Michael Althauser officiating. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Quincy/Miami Township Fire and Rescue. Arrangements are being handled by Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff.
