Margaret Snyder Moore RiggsMargaret Snyder Moore Riggs, 81, of Proctorville, Ohio , went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 28, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born February 18, 1930 in Chesapeake, Ohio, to the late Hobart and Gladie Langdon Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Herschel Moore; second husband James R. Riggs; one daughter Brenda Margaret Moore; one sister Sylvia Wheeler; two brothers Bernard and Sherlie Snyder; one great grandson Corey Nicholas Barker; and one daughter-in-law Onita Helen Moore. She was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church of Guyandotte and retired from the Perry Norville Shoe Company. She is survived by one son James C. (Minnie) Moore of Huntington; one granddaughter Stacie (Clarence) Barker of South Point; one great grandson Wesley Shane Barker, "her precious"; six step grandchildren; one sister Leoma Waugh of Gallipolis; one sister-in-law Louise Irby of Huntington; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday July 1, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Buddy Muncy. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday June 30, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
