Virginia Norris Chaffin Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2011 Virginia Norris Chaffin, 82, of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at noon at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV by Rev. Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow. Virginia was born on February 3, 1929 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late John and Lucy Adams Norris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Edward Chaffin and a daughter Barbara Wolfe. She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law; Paul and Janice Chaffin and Mike and Lillian Chaffin. Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. One brother; Douglas Norris and a sister: Norma Brooks. A host of nieces and nephews and family and friends. Friends may call from 11 until service time at the cemetery on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice House of Huntington. The family wishes to thank Hospice and staff for their loving care. I can't begin to express how sorry I am for your loss. She was a wonderful lady. I am also very sorry I can't make it to town this time. I start a new job Monday and will be in training, other wise I would be there. Love an prayers to the family.
