1945 - 2011
BESSIE MAE WILSON, 66, of Kenova, W.Va., is rejoicing in heaven today after passing away Sunday July 24, 2011. Bessie was born March 28, 1945, in Logan, W.Va., to the late Andrew and Rene Crabtree. She was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Ann and three brothers, Henry, Darrel and Ray Crabtree. She is survived by her daughter Toni (Chris) Chadwick of Huntington and her son Gary (Kathy) Wilson of Proctorville, Ohio, and her four loving grandchildren Corey Wilson, Amber, Blake and Marissa Chadwick, along with two sisters, Dorthy (Scott) Cullars of Huntington and Faye (Bill) Norgaard of Washington state. She was retired from Calgon Carbon in Kentucky and left a host of friends and family whose lives she touched in an inspirational way. Everyone knew she worshipped God and cherished her children. Mom, you were truly a special person, and the world was better for having known you. Words cannot express how much we love and miss you. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Tim Crabtree. To Gary (Flip)....... I am sorry for your loss. As you well know many of us loved and appreciated the kind of person and employee Bessie was. Many of us did not know of her passing until tonight. I was not aware if she had been sick or if this was just a sudden event. I believe she is in heaven tonight as she had told me that her faith was in Jesus and that is a big relief for all of us who knew her. My prayers for comfort are with you the family.

Gary Wilson;
We send to you and your family our deepest sympathy at the loss of your Mother. We both knew Bessie for a long time from working with her at Calgon. She was a fine person and a joy to be around. Since Bessie retired from Calgon we have not been in contact with her. We were unaware of her illness. We know of Bessie's great faith in GOD and the great love of here children and grandchildren as she was always ready to let everyone know. Our prayers are with you that God puts his loving arms around you and your family and comfort you in this time of grief and sadness. Just remember that she now resides with the one she had her Hope and Faith in.
With all Our Heart & Prayers;
Jack & Connie Withrow
