Judy Dee McPherson, 69, of De Graff, died at 11:02 AM Friday, August 12, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Sidney on July 11, 1942, a daughter of the late Robert Marion and Beatrice Kennedy Reeder.
On July 31, 1960, she married James Russell McPherson in Bellefontaine and he died June 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Doris Jean Fout and Patricia Sue Reeder.
She is survived by a daughter, Jodi Dee (Denver) Stone of West Jefferson; two sons, Doyle Gene (Brenda) McPherson of Kettering and Craig James (Karen) McPherson of East Haddan, CT; one brother, Keith (Sharon) Reeder of Fort Loramie; two sisters, Susan (Bruce) Weber of Sidney and Roberta (Leonard) Copus of Byrdstown, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Danielle Morgan McPherson of West Lafayette, IN, Drew Mitchell McPherson of Riverside, Riley and Braxton Stone both of West Jefferson and Erin McPherson of East Haddan, CT.
A homemaker, she worked at the DeGraff Variety Store for many years and she attended Gretna Brethren Church. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and putting together puzzles.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where a funeral begins at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
