Kenny Michael Scott Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1951 - 2011 Kenny Michael Scott, 60, of Quincy, died at 8:15 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at his home. He was born in Goody, Kentucky on June 19, 1951, a son of the late Woodrow and Gladys Blackburn Scott. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bunny Kay Delawder. On April 26, 1980, he married Janette L. Rose in Quincy and she survives; along with sons, Aaron Scott of St. Clairsville, Christopher Scott of DeGraff and Michael Scott of California; brothers, Teddy R. (Tootsy) Scott of Irvine, Kentucky, Wilkie (Jean) Scott of Bellefontaine, Jack (Golda) Scott of Logansville; sisters, Judy Carol Good of Baltimore, Maryland, Dorothy Steele of Irvine, KY, Peggy Rose of Tennessee and Patsy McClure of Sidney. A 1969 graduate of Riverside High School, he was a US Navy Veteran and worked at HBD Industires in Bellefontaine. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and the Greenbay Packers. Pastor John Leighty conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where calling hours will be on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial is in the Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Wilson Hospice.

Kenny will be dearly missed bu my whole family. He was always of good humor, and always spoke his mind. My fondest memory of Kenny, will forever be him playing a twelve string and singing songs that made you feel like you was sitting with family down south. Wish I could have attended the services, but I will pray for my brothers Chris, and Mike, and the rest of the family.
