Bruce James CarmanBruce James Carman, 57, of Urbana, died at 6:28 PM Monday, September 5, 2011, at his home.

He was born July 2, 1954, in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of James Byron Carman and the late Eva Lena Spain Jackson. He was also preceded in death by a Sister, Marjorie Sue Dennison.

On May 9, 1998, he married Shirley Ann Gorman in Westville and she survives. Other survivors include his Father James Byron (Nancy) Carman of Lakeview, three Step Daughters; Kathryn (Joe) Murry of Springfield, Kimberly (Mike) Blair of West Liberty, Kristine (David) Young of New Carlisle, two Brothers: David Carman of Bellefontaine and James Dale Landers of Urbana, a Half Sister: Julie (Mark) Dixon of Bellefontaine, eight Grand Children, five Great Grand Children, a Step Sister; Stephanie (Mark) Kaldan of Bowling Green, and many Nieces and Nephews.

He was a Paint Technician for Rittal Corporation in Urbana and a member of Faith Fellowship Church, Urbana. He enjoyed his grandchildren, bowling and fishing.

His body has been cremated according to his wishes and a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Faith Fellowship Church, Urbana, with Pastor Roger Childers officiating.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
