Bertha Ruth Perry, 83, of Huntington, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bob Talbert. Burial will follow at Earls Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Bertha was a homemaker and a member of the Mays Chapel United Methodist Church
Bertha was born on September 3, 1928 in Wayne County, WV the daughter of the late Charles Richard and Elra Iona Adkins Norris.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Perry, a special daughter in law; Pam Perry and three brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters Judy (Ronald) Graham of Huntington and Donna (Larry) Adkins of Wurtland, KY and five sons: Jim(Judy) Perry of Proctorville, OH., Miles Perry of Huntington, Dale(Jodie) Perry of Coal Grove, OH., Eddie(Debbie) Perry of South Point, OH., and Scott (Becky) Perry of Lavallette, WV
Fifteen grandchildren: Kevin Graham, Kelli Bennett, Wendy Adkins, Mark Adkins, Stacy Masters, Jeff Adkins, Amanda Sammons, Jimmy Curt, Lance, Allen Jr., Tyler, Shelby, Jason , Josh and Danielle Perry
Twenty One great grand children and 3 great great grandchildren
Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Reger Funeral Home.
